Carrie Le Chevallier

Carrie Le Chevallier grew up along the beaches of Southern California, with  Los
Angeles as a backdrop. During the early 1990’s she studied and taught World
Religion at San Diego State University. Carrie has over 10 years experience with
managing facility operations including retail businesses, a yoga studio and several
restaurants. In 1995 she moved to New York City where she joined the Midnight Oil
Corporation to manage one of Giorgio Armani’s cafes on Madison Avenue.  Since
moving to North Carolina, Carrie spent five years working with Whole Foods Market
as a Marketing Specialist implementing a strong marketing plan that she won several
awards for. In 2006 Carrie served on the advisory committee for the Monet in
Normandy exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Art. In 2008 Carrie co-founded the
non-profit Feed the Farm, and still operates as the Executive Director of that
foundation.
THE LoDi PROJECT exists as a curatorial organization that strives to bring attention to current
issues and ideas by creating an atmosphere of open dialogue through site specific and
traveling exhibitions, performances and productions.
Georges Le Chevallier

Georges Le Chevallier was born in Paris, France, grew up in San Juan Puerto Rico,
settling in Raleigh, North Carolina.  He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in
Drawing and Painting from California State University in Long Beach, and a Masters
of Fine Arts Degree from Hunter College in New York City. As an artist, Georges Le
Chevallier had his first major solo exhibition 20 years ago and since then his
paintings, photographic works, and public art installations have been exhibited
extensively nationally and internationally in distinguished galleries and museums.
Georges has over 15 years of bi-lingual art teaching experience at different museum
educational departments, correctional facilities, and at the elementary, high school,
and university levels. He has taught at UNC Pembroke, Vance Granville Community
College, and Lehman College in New York. Currently he is a Professor at The Living
Arts College in Raleigh, NC, where he teaches courses in Digital Design,
Photography, and Art History, and was presented with The Winter 2007 Outstanding
Faculty Member Award. Some of his Gallery management  experience  includes
being The Living Arts College’s Gallery Coordinator, co-curating the traveling Obama
Exhibition at Design Box Gallery in Raleigh and The Green Hill Center for North
Carolina Art, in Greensboro, and organizing  the Annual Young People’s Exhibition at
Lehman College's Gallery in New York City.  Because of his multi-ethnic background
and countless travel experiences he is fluent in the French, Spanish, Italian, and
English languages.
The Lodi Project was co-founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Georges and Carrie
LeChevallier, and named after their daughter Lola and their son Diego, whom they
adopted from Guatemala in 2007.
